Dopeless HOPE Imagining: The Journey : Dopeless HOPE Imagining was born in the mind of David Shehi one morning at about 4:00 am. In a recent birthday wish, Phil Lesh said "if I could have anything for my birthday, it would be that we all treat each other with kindness, respect, and love. That's what this community started with back in the Haight forty-five years ago, and that's what will keep us together forever." David was not around for those days in the Haight, but that same spirit is exactly from where this effort came. Throughout the pages of this small book, one will encounter a chronicle of the last year of the double-zero decade in jam through the lens of David. If that one is you, welcome, enjoy the ride, and blessings to you for your interest and generosity. This book was developed exclusively for Mimi Fishman Foundation who will auction two signed copies of the book via their auction site and 100% of the auction will go directly to the foundation so that they may continue in their invaluable work. This album is intended to share the journey for what will be the two editions that will be auctioned on The Mimi Fishman Foundation auction some time in the coming months. The goal is to have every artist featured in the book to sign his or her picture.
